Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian science of architecture and construction that integrates traditional Hindu and, in some cases, Buddhist beliefs. The term “Vastu” means “dwelling” and “Shastra” means “science” or “teaching.” Together, Vastu Shastra translates to the “science of dwelling.”

Five Elements ( Pancha Bhootas ): Vastu Shastra is based on balancing the five natural elements – Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu), and Space (Akasha). Each element has a specific direction associated with it, influencing the energy flow within a space.
Directions: The principles of Vastu emphasize the correct alignment and positioning of a building’s layout with the cardinal directions (north, south, east, west) to harness positive energies and minimize negative influences.
